Teacher Centennial Academy believes that one of the fundamentals necessary to provide a strong early and young childhood education is a school environment where administrative support for and empowerment of the school's faculty are a consistent presence.

Though faculty and support staff are chosen based upon their current level of experience, equally important is each person's commitment to the pursuit of further certifications and degrees in the education field. As faculty members teach Centennial Academy students, they are expected to stay abreast of educational developments at their class level and pursue career enhancement goals.

Centennial Academy faculty members work as a "team" within their classrooms and as "team members" with all other school personnel on behalf of the school. Centennial Academy is fortunate to have a diversely experienced and talented staff each of whom is encouraged not only to share his/her respective areas of expertise, talents and interests in their own class, but also to do so with fellow staff members and the entire school family. Multi-class programs, recitals, projects and activities are commonplace at Centennial Academy.

Another exciting part of the administration's continuing faculty education philosophy is the faculty and support staff's ongoing participation in seminars on a myriad of topics, including multi class level curriculum integration, subject specific faculty in service training by: professional curriculum providers, faculty presentations on successful new developments/studies in early and young childhood education gleaned from ongoing continuing education classes and administration-led seminars.

Experience has repeatedly shown that young students who are consistently valued in their school environment excitedly embrace the overall school experience and should proceed toward developmental and educational readiness markers. Centennial Academy values its faculty members and support staff as important contributors toward these goals.
